Sheffield LGBT+ History Month 2017 Celebrate Weekend

February 26 @ 2:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Weekend of Events to Celebrate LGBT+ History Month 2017

Sunday 26 February begins at 2.30pm with a red-carpet event, arrive in style and strut your stuff. Out Aloud! Sheffield’s LGBT+ choir will be there to entertain you. This is a prelude to the film premier of Out of the Shadows produced by E.D.E.N Films. The film examines the experiences of LGBT+ people who had to explore their sexual identity and gender identity at a time when homosexuality was illegal in England and Wales.

The weekend finale is a Tea Dance. Come, have fun and relax with friends old and new in the unique Hubs (there is a bar), you’ll wish all Sunday afternoons could be like this! £3 / £2 / donation on the door. Please note that U18s must be accompanied by an adult.

At the Tea Dance, the highly acclaimed DJ Wendy all the way from Lesvos, Greece will be playing her unmistakable mix of upbeat music, this will be an unapologetic and chilled-out celebration of our LGBT+ identities! Wear your glad-rags, celebrate and, above all, be yourself!

Have you seen what’s happening on Sunday 25 February we hope you can make that day of events too!
