Developing Future LGBT+ Leaders

Leadership is about developing skills, knowledge and self-awareness; about feeling empowered to take action in one’s own life; and about positively influencing one’s environment. Building strong youth leaders is core to creating communities where all LGBT+ youth and students can thrive and feel empowered.
This conference is aimed at teachers, youth workers, health and social care workers, parents/carers, students, allies and anyone with an interest in LGBT+ young people and developing leadership and inclusive environments. It has a range of keynote speakers and workshops to enable workers and parents/carers to reflect on ways to support young people to become leaders in their own lives and be role models for others.
